What symphony wins the title of “most mysterious”? Known as the “forbidden” symphony, Edvard Grieg wrote that his Symphony in C minor “must never be performed” right on the score. It’s still not clear why, but the WSO is playing this confident work, filled with positive, youthful energy and fresh musical ideas, anyway.
During this bite-sized concert, you’ll learn about works being performed, enjoy a taste of orchestral music, and have your curiosity quenched when the conductor answers questions from the audience.
